Chiapas Highlights   Day 1 TUXTLA GUTIERREZ/SUMIDERO CANYON/SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS Upon your arrival into Tuxtla International Airport you will be welcomed by our local bi-lingual guide and transferred to the Grijalva River for the breathtaking experience traveling through the Sumidero Canyon. Returning from the Canyon, we will transport you to the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas where you will over night at one of our top hotels: DAY 2 SAN CRISTOBAL/LAGOS DE MONTEBELLO After Breakfast we will depart for an exciting day trip to the Caves of Rancho Nuevo followed by a visit to the Indian community of Arnatenango del Valle an indigenous group dedicated to Clay Art and Crafts. We will then visit the Post classic Tenam Bridge, winding down our day at  the MONTEBELLO LAKES before heading back to SAN CRISTOBAL for an overnight stay. DAY 3 SAN JUAN CHAMULA/ZINACANTAN Breakfast and a fascinating look at how past and present can live in harmony. We will visit the communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan (As seen on NO FRONTIERS) Returning to overnight in San Cristobal DAY 4 SAN CRISTOBAL/ AGUA AZUL/ MISOLHA/ PALENQUE After Breakfast we depart for the turquoise Waters of the AGUA AZUL waterfalls, where you can relax have a swim before visiting of the MAYANS gifts to the World. The pyramids of PALENQUE. Overnight in Palenque DAY 5 PALENQUE-BONAMPAK-YAXCHILAN After Breakfast we will travel to the Archaeological site of BONAMPAK where one can appreciate the finest Mayan Murals in the World. Travelling on to ESCUDO JAGUAR and navigating on the Usumacinta river to visit Yaxchilan, return and overnight in Palenque DAY 6 PALENQUE/LA VENTA MUSEUM/VILLAHERMOSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT After Breakfast we will travel to La Venta Park in Villahermosa Tabasco. Where we will have the opportunity to see the OLMECA HEADS which represent the oldest culture in MESOAMERICA. La Venta is a combination of both a Museum and Nature Park. Finishing our visit we will depart for Villahermosas international Airport.
